Conventional X-ray scanners see only shape and density. When shapes are similar, it is hard to tell drugs from sugar, or explosives from ordinary chemicals.
FUSION-XN overlays composition read by neutrons on the X-ray image. As a truck passes through the portal, it shows both the type and the location of the hazardous material.
